Three Fun Ways To Personalise Your Kids Clothing

by Mitchell Gilbert

Getting your kid to wear appropriate, comfortable clothing can be a bit of a challenge. To add onto that, many kids' clothing choices are very bland, and it can be hard if you want to personalise them. Luckily, with the invention of online shops and more direct access to producers of clothing, nowadays it is much easier to get personalised kids' clothing. But with so many options can come confusion about what to actually get. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Pictures Of Baby Footprints

For younger children, getting a picture of their footprints on a personalised kids' clothing design template is a great way to represent them well while also being a unique design that sparks conversations. All it takes is for you to get an imprint of their hands (watercolours are a good way to do this) and scan it into a computer. Once you have the file, simply upload it to your chosen kids' clothing website and choose the background colour and shirt size. This will also be a cute memento for them as they get older and want to reflect on their childhood.

Favourite Sports Team

If your child has a favourite sports team but is too small for a jersey or wants a more comfortable fabric, then getting them a clothing item centred around a favourite player or team is a great idea. You obviously can't directly copy a team's jersey or format, but you can put a player's name and number on the back and maybe some art of the team's mascot. If you are going to a game, you could even try to get the shirt signed by the very player who inspired the shirt.

Themed Shirt

You can personalise almost every aspect of kids' clothing to the point that a themed item can become almost like a costume. If, for example, your kid loves pirates, then why not design a shirt with a belt around the waist with swords tucked into it. You can even customise the pants at some of these stores to really complete the ensemble. If your child has been begging you to help them dress like their favourite character, then this is a simple, cheap and unique way to give them exactly what they want. This makes it a great idea for birthday parties and Christmas presents.

About Me

Flo's Guide to Fashion

Hello, my name is Flo. My passion is for making sure that everyone wears the best fashion. That doesn't mean that people have to wear the latest styles. I like it when people wear things that don't quite fit. When people make people think and give them a shock, I think that is what we are all about. I said to my friend that fashion was dead. Then I decided to start a blog to prove that what people wear will go on and on and that nothing really dies. I hope you enjoy my blog and find it very useful.
