Three Workwear Accessories You Should Never Skimp On

Every day, millions of Australians put on their workwear and head into their jobs in every industry imaginable. Many of these industries require quite demanding physical labour, and it is essential that you are comfortable and feel supported by your workwear throughout the day. That is why it is important to buy not only traditional pieces of workwear like hard-duty shirts and pants but also some less-considered accessories. The next time you are shopping for workwear or work clothing, here are three things you should remember to buy.
Socks
A good pair of socks not only makes walking around on hard surfaces more comfortable, but it also keeps your feet warm in cold winter days. If you work outside a lot, then getting good-quality socks is an absolute must as part of your workwear wardrobe. Look for socks that have non-slip material on them as well so that they don't shift around in your shoe. Also, make sure to get plenty of pairs of socks, as it sometimes seems like losing socks is a national pastime. If you get all of the same variant, then losing one or two socks won't be such a big deal because they will be interchangeable with each other.
Undershirt
An undershirt is an often forgotten item of clothing that can have quite a dramatic impact on your overall comfort and durability of your clothing. Not only does an undershirt keep you warmer in winter, but it also ensures that your main shirt does not get saturated in sweat every day. This keeps your primary shirt in better condition and also means that it does not get as badly affected by body odour and stains. It is a very practical item of clothing that has largely been forgotten about, but that doesn't mean you can't still utilise its benefits.
Cap
Getting a small cap can be very beneficial for a number of reasons:
It keeps hair and sweat out of your eyes when you are working. This is especially true if you are constantly working outside.
Caps block the sun from burning you and also from obscuring your vision. If you hate wearing sunglasses because they always slide off when you work then a cap is a perfect alternative.
They are lightweight and very compact, unlike larger brim hats that can get in the way and feel very large on your head.
Keeping a cap in your car or at your desk is a very easy thing to do, and if you only use it once or twice a year, it will be worth it.
